I thought I´d just make a little update, since I have been silent for quite a while. I have been struggling with injuries for the bigger part of 3 months now. My latest was a couple of weeks ago when an old shoulder injury reared it´s ugly head again and my should got dislocated. To say that it hurt was an understatement, and I still can´t fully move it or dress myself without being in pain. So because of these things my training has been temporarily suspended.

BUT! I just wanted to say that have NOT put on any weight since I did the whole 2 month training up to and the running of the half marathon in february-march-april. And here is a little current picture, just to prove it.

PS. note the weights in the background. Never out of sight, therefor never out of mind ;)

There is no point in giving up, because I know what awaits me if I do. I was very unhappy and uncomfortable when I was at my biggest, and I don’t want to go back there.

And I had a great talk with my boyfriend about results. I was saying I didn’t feel like I was seeing any results, when he mentioned that results don’t always come in the form a number on a scale. Improved fitness, faster run speeds, heavier weights… It’s all part of it.
